History can solve present-day challenges.  This fall we're once again presenting the Frederick Douglass Dialogues to middle schools, high schools and universities.  We'll give students an historical understanding of slavery and how it was abolished in the 19th Century.  Then we'll discuss the crisis of modern-day slavery and human trafficking and show how much power an individual can wield using just a computer and the vast social networks with which young people are so familiar.

Highlights of the Frederick Douglass 2009 Fall Tour:

As a non-profit organization, we rely on financial support from individual donors, religious organizations, corporations, private foundations and other non-profit organizations.  The Frederick Douglass Dialogues program is just one example of the efforts we are making to raise awareness and to affect the issue of modern-day slavery and human trafficking.  Please help us make a difference by clicking the "donate" button below.
